Pork in the Park - April 22, 2006

Crossroads was set up on the stage Saturday at Winterplace Park for Pork in the Park and ready to play - and then a flash of lightning! It had been raining off and on all day, but the lightning caused the program directors to cancel the show. We had been looking forward to playing this festival, and then listening to the next bands, Bone Daddies and Briefcase Blues. Friend and fellow musician, Todd from Rip Tied, came out; we enjoyed his band at Trader Lee's in Ocean City a few weeks ago. Jeannie Adkins, Director of the Lower Eastern Shore Chapter of Abate was there with her husband, Big John. The photographer from Delmarva Bike Week, Big Brad, also braved the rain. We went to the Civic Center for Beast of the East earlier in the day to look at all the bikes on display.
